This live in-person workshop presents both Basic Ventilator Life Support (BVLS) and Advanced Ventilator Life Support (AVLS) in an interactive way designed to challenge the learner to think critically and expand their understanding of mechanical ventilation with the goal of enhancing provider confidence and improving patient outcomes.

Taught by our interdisciplinary team of critical care providers, this workshop is appropriate for all levels of clinicians, from Paramedics to Physicians and everything in between.

Time: 0800-1700

    • Access opens 30 days prior to class

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION

  • This course has been approved for 16 hours of continuing education for Paramedics and Nurses.

  • Paramedic hours are awarded through a Colorado State Approved EMS Training Group.

  • Nursing hours are awarded through the California Board of Nursing

CRITERIA FOR AWARDING CONTACT HOURS

  • Students must attend the entire education session.

  • Complete and submit an online course evaluation.
